RIBBON By Bob Manders BM104 is a contemporary design of solid sprung lever handle on a rose, avilable in satin stainless steel.
Ribbon architecture is the term that is used to describe the way in which the walls, floors, and roof come together within buildings to form a single, self-supporting but interlinked structure. Such a construction ensures a continued sense of movement and momentum, as the spaces flow between each other.
The same principle can also be observed in the hardware series that was designed for Formani by Bob Manders, which is also named RIBBON.
RIBBON is a collection of hardware accessories, including door handles, window handles, pull handles, and cabinet hardware designed by well-known Dutch designer Bob Manders.
The design is unique, especially in the way in which the parts are welded together as a singular piece. Traditional handles are always made out of three pieces: the rose, the neck, and the lever. In this case these three parts are made out of a singular single piece, creating a truly unique design.
